In this edition of The Trend Forecast we'll be revealing the newest styles and silhouettes from one of our most popular brands, L*Space! This fashion forward, cutting edge, California swimwear brand always has it's pulse on what's hot and this season's newest additions are no exception and include some re-imagined classics in swim and resort wear as well as some pieces in this years most coveted color; Emerald green. With so many new styles we've decide to devote this entire post to introducing you to the pieces that will most definitely be making waves this coming season!

So What's Trending?

Dresses with strategically placed smocking for that snatched waist look, Menswear inspired shirts, skin-baring cut-outs, and crochet are all making a splash right now. Emerald green swim pieces are hot hot hot, and neutral colored accessories made of natural materials like paper, straw, and wood make it easy to pair with any outfit. We are loving that L*Space is staying true to it's original "California Cool" aesthetic while still managing to create looks on par with what's trending in fashion right now! We are obsessed with each and every piece!

Best Sellers In Hot New Hues!

Last Season's Carli Cover Up and Rio Tunic were so popular that we had to have them back again in fresh new colors and this dreamy Aura Blue and popping Guava Pink are pure perfection. The sexy Bree One Piece isn't going anywhere anytime soon and makes it's season 2 debut in Abyss, a beautiful bright blue. The Farrah Top is also back again in Abyss Blue and also in the years most coveted color, Emerald green. We snatched up this season's new Winona Bottom to pair with the popular Farrah Top but more on the Winona below!

Brand New Swim

We love to get a taste of something fresh and new and the newest crop of swim pieces from L*Space are absolutely delicious! For those of us who were missing L*Space's "Ridin' High" Rib Collection, it is back in a big big way! Almost all of their new silhouettes feature some form of the OG ribbed fabric that made the brand so sought after in the past. The Hazel Top is so unique with it's contrast strap detail that continues down the sides and underneath the bust line of this tie back bralette. It's paired with the popular Jay Bottom which now features that same color contrast binding. The Hunter Top is the newest underwire-bra inspired silhouette with a super sexy demi cup and fully adjustable tie back. The newest addition to the line up of bikini bottoms are the Dominic and Winona Bottoms. Both high leg styles with Dominic being a bit cheekier and Winona showing more skin on the hips due to it's single strap sides.

Fresh New Resort

So, not even kidding here: We feel like L*Space has been holding back on us, where the heck were they hiding these fabulous designs?! This season's dresses, cover ups, and resort separates are off the freakin' hook! The Calla Dress and Lilikoi Dress are both tiered maxi styles with smocking at the waist and a slit in the front, similar styles yes, but still such different looks! Bonus: These dresses will carry us through the coming Fall months paired with a little denim jacket or cardi since there's no way we can wait for warmer weather to start wearing them! The form fitting, ribbed fabric Charli Dress goes easily from day to night and don't even get us started on the Marbella Crochet Top and Pant. The allover crochet in comfy, skin friendly cotton is so stunning and embraces this season's menswear inspired trends. Speaking of menswear inspired, the Mila Dress and Presley Dress take the classic button down shirt look and elevate it to chic new heights! The Mila keeps it flirty with a super short length and tie waist, while the Presley is effortless sophistication with it's more conservative length and universally flattering cut. We're gonna need more room in our closets!

Unique New Accessories

Natural materials in neutral hues! The Bungalow Hat and Scarlett Hat are both made of Paper Raffia making them lightweight, breathable and comfortable. We are swooning over the openwork design of the Bungalow that gives texture and a fresh, almost boho-style vibe while the Scarlett radiates a sweetness with it's pretty bow accent. The Jolene Bag is like none we've seen before with it's structured wood design and acrylic beaded handles. While fanny packs have been making a comeback this season we haven't seen one yet as fab as the Evie Fanny Pack, this is not your mother's 80's/90's neon fanny pack! This straw style has leather details and a strap that can be elongated to wear as a crossbody, yes, L*Space thinks of everything!
